When Does Imagistone Make Sense For Bathrooms?

When Does Imagistone Make Sense For Bathrooms?
I am often asked about  when does the installation of Imagistone in bathrooms make the most sense?  The simple and surprising answer is that Imagistone  in bathrooms seldom makes sense in new construction.  Imagistone  requires some type of existing sub surface to apply to.  It would make little sense to install  a new cultured marble tub and immediately apply Imagistone to it.

Imagistone in remodel  bathrooms makes  enormous sense.  The obvious advantages are  practical and economic.  Practical because no tear out is required and economical because of the dollar savings.  Take for example a cultured marble double sink in the master vanity.  Most of these have been custom made when the home was originally built.  The cost to tear out and custom replace can range from $1,200. to $5,000. depending on the type of surface desired.  Imagistone costs $500. and  can make these vanities more beautiful than when they were new.

These same scenarios are true for tubs and tub/shower combinations.  The tear out and replacement of tubs and combinations is a very expensive undertaking.  Normally, Imagistone can be applied to these existing surfaces for under $750. and the look is stunning.
